The stand-alone Pressure Motive Pump (PMP) consists of the pump tank, the internal operating mechanism, and a set of inlet and outlet check valves. The internal mechanism is equipped with our Patented “Snap-Assure” design which extends the life of the pump. Mechanism incorporates heat-treated stainless steel wear items. These units can operate using steam, air, nitrogen or other pressurized inert gases as the motive force. Depending on the particular model, pump tanks can be made from Ductile Iron, Fabricated Steel or Stainless Steel. An additional receiver or reservoir tank will be required to complete the system.
PMPLS Series - Carbon Steel Low-Profile Pressure Motive Pump
The PMPLS pressure motive pump body & cover are manufactured from Carbon Steel. The PMPLS model has a reduced-profile tank that is often required when draining condensate from process equipment positioned close to the ground which limits the filling head of the pump. These pumps receive the ASME “UM” code stamp.
