Series: TD700S
The Thermodynamic Steam Trap is simple and compact with a single moving part (disc) which opens to discharge condensate and closes in the presence of steam. Body materials are available in Stainless and Alloy Steels for pressures up to 3,600 psig. It is widely used in higher pressure drip applications and critical tracing applications where condensate back-up is not permitted.
Applications: Draining condensate from steam mains and steam supply lines. They can also be used for steam tracing applications.
TD700S vs TD700HS
- TD700S Standard Model – Operates over the full pressure range up to 650 PSIG.
- TD700HS High-Pressure Model – Recommended on pressures over 150 PSIG for improved efficiency.
Note: All models of the TD700S will operate up to 650 PSIG; however, the TD700HS however, the TD700HS (designation H for High-Pressure) was specifically designed for working pressures over 150 PSIG for increased performance and efficiency.
Helpful Selection Information: The TD700HS is a high pressure version of the standard TD700S model. While both the TD700S and TD700HS will operate with pressures up to 650 PSIG, the TD700HS has a slightly smaller discharge orifice and is recommended for system pressures over 150 PSIG because of increased efficiency and performance. The TD700S is available in NPT, Socket Weld, and Flange connections from 1/2” through 1”.
